Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to clients and participants of Burn by Brooke. By booking, purchasing or attending a session or event (paid or otherwise), you agree to the following terms.

Private 1:1 Sessions

Burn by Brooke offers appointment-based private Mat and Reformer Pilates sessions from a private studio in Bowral.

Sessions are tailored to the individual, taking into consideration experience, goals and any disclosed health considerations or physical limitations.

Hens, Private Events & Group Bookings

Burn by Brooke offers private Mat Pilates sessions at external venues and accommodation, including hens parties, birthdays, girls' weekends, corporate events, retreats and other private group bookings.

The booking organiser is responsible for ensuring participants are aware that Pilates is a physical activity and for communicating any relevant information provided by Burn by Brooke prior to the event.

The booking organiser is also responsible for ensuring a suitable and safe space is available for the session, with adequate room for all participants and equipment.

Where a session is planned outdoors, a suitable wet weather alternative should be available where possible.

Participants should disclose any injuries, pregnancies, medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect their participation before the session begins.

Burn by Brooke reserves the right to modify, postpone or cancel a session where the venue, weather or other conditions are considered unsuitable or unsafe.

Participants are encouraged to work within their own capabilities and notify Brooke immediately if they experience pain, discomfort, dizziness or other concerns during a session.

Retreats

Retreat sessions are generally delivered as Mat Pilates at the retreat venue.

Where suitable Reformer equipment and facilities are already available at the retreat venue, Reformer Pilates may be offered by prior arrangement.

The retreat organiser is responsible for ensuring the venue and any equipment supplied by the venue are suitable, safe and available for the agreed session.

Event Bookings & Payments

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure an event booking and requested date.

The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Final participant numbers must be confirmed 14 days prior to the event. Pricing will be based on the confirmed number of participants and will not be reduced if participant numbers decrease after this date.

An enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. Your booking is confirmed once Burn by Brooke has accepted the booking and the required deposit has been received.

Any changes to participant numbers, venue, location, timing or session requirements should be communicated as soon as possible. Changes may affect the quoted price or Burn by Brooke’s ability to accommodate the booking.

Ticketed Events Hosted by Burn by Brooke

Burn by Brooke may host ticketed Pilates classes, community events, fundraising events and other special events at external venues.

Tickets are subject to availability and provide admission to the event and inclusions described at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, tickets are non-refundable for change of mind. Tickets may be transferred to another person by contacting Burn by Brooke prior to the event.

Event details, including timing, venue, instructors, activities, inclusions and participating brands or suppliers, may be subject to reasonable change where required.

Where an event is held outdoors, Burn by Brooke may relocate activities to an appropriate indoor or undercover area, modify the event format, postpone the event or make other reasonable changes due to weather or safety considerations.

If Burn by Brooke cancels an event and an alternative date or arrangement is not offered or accepted, ticket holders will receive a refund for the cancelled event in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Participants are responsible for advising Burn by Brooke of any injuries, pregnancies, medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect their participation. Participants should work within their own capabilities and may choose not to participate in any activity.
